Orange and turquoise. Looks sharp and clean with white or silver (shelving/containers).

Turquoise with white and red accents is really mod but also fresh together.

I just saw a show where they decorated a kitchen in a soft turquoise and punched it up with accents of red. It was very retro and looked awesome. It was very unexpected but looked fantastic!!!

While I love color also, you might want to consider that any colors you paint the room will effect the look of the colors you are creating with. A soft shade of white with no yellow or brown tints will give you the best lighting for putting together colors in your projects.

The lighting also makes a big difference. Have you ever tried to match colors such as red or navy in a department store?
