Default Oriental Trading--Can you make a desk out of this?

Oriental Trading has their snap in style bins on sale. Are these good quality? Can you snap them together and attach the Crop In Style desk top?

to me the first ones you linked look like they are more on the cardboard-y side and wouldn't hold much weight - the second cubes I think would be your better bet
but maybe someone has them?? and can say for sure

I couldn't say for absolute sure, but most of the stuff from oriental trading is on the cheapy side. I wouldn't buy them, I don't think.

you would need to use the melamine cubes to put the counter top on first.
then the snap and stores are your storage drawers.

Have you seen the cubes that Michael's has again? They are the Store n Style knock-off kind. This time, though, instead of white they are a dark wood. I think they're $34.95 for all types. You'd have to find something else for a top though, since these don't have one available.
