Default Cards With Ribbon

Hello,
I am in a card club at my local stamp store. Next month we have to make a card using ribbon. I am stumped on this one. Can anyone help?
Thank you

Hello! Search the SCS gallery for "Ribbon" and you'll be overwhelmed with options!

Because of SU's ribbon promo right now, I've been adding cards using ribbon to my favorites lately. Here are some of the unique ribbon cards I've added recently:

Clean and simple card using a pop of color with ribbon: CAS Summer Silhouettes by mcalexab - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Triple Time stamping technique cards often use ribbon: Triple Time Friendship Card by michvan3 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Use your favorite punches or dies and layer pieces of ribbon behind the cutouts for texture and color: Holiday Collection Trio Ribbon Card by dostamping - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

You can use ribbon just as a small accent for extra color, or cut the ends into a banner shape: iSSC 11 by pdncurrier - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Make your ribbon 3D by scrunching it (good for those who struggle with bows but want a fun feel: Sale-a Bration 2011 - Punch Bunch by CAROL HOUGHTON - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Have fun!

My favorite way to use ribbon on a card is to tie it in a big ole beautiful bow. I've got a tutorial if you need it. Scrapmaster's Paradise: How to tie the PERFECT Bow

Here is a card I made using ribbon in a different way. Just use a punch on the side of your card and add ribbon.

I think ribbon flowers are fun to make - there's a tutorial here which is the one I like to do, with grosgrain or twill. I know there are also rolled ribbon flowers and a rose made a bit like those concertinaed Christmas decorations, but this one is my favourite.

Something else a bit different is this Ribbon Frame which we did as a TLC challenge over three (yikes, where did that time go!!) years ago.
That's a challenge I've revisited several times, I think it's a great way to use ribbon. Here's one of the cards I made using it - FTTC48 Daffodils by Cook22 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Thank you for all the great ideas. I was stumped on this one. The only thing I could come up with is making a Christmas tree using ribbon for the branches.

Here's a few of my videos on ribbon. I LOVE ribbon and use it on EVERY card. The last link is my most recent and is a different way to use ribbon. The first 4 are different ways to tie knots and bows - as well as a few tricks if you don't love to actually "tie" it onto a card. Hope this helps!!!
