Thin EZ Mount & hot knife?

Can you use a hot knife with the thin EZ mount or does it only work with the cushioned EZ mount? TIA!

You can use the hot knife with the thin mount. I personally don't like the thin mount. The cushioned mount is much better....

Sorry to hijack the original post...

Where are you getting the thin EZ Mount? I have several stamps that are new and came with the sticky cushion that was intended to be put on wood. I want to make them "unmounted" for the acrylic blocks and I heard that the thin EZ mount is best for this.

I use thin mount with stamps that already have the cushion (if they aren't mounted on wood blocks). So, the cushion is a little thicker than if I used just the regular EZ Mount, but makes it much easier.

I got the hot knife a few weeks ago and have used it with both- awesome! Stinks a little, though.
