Default K&Company nickel tacks...

I bought a package of K&Company Life's Journey nickel tacks a while back and I can't for the life of me figure out how to use them! Anyone know how to make them work?

Thanks,
Alison

I looked on their website and it says that you just glue them on. Surprised me because I always thought of "tacks" as those things with a sharp pointy end that you stick in a bulletin board. Maybe they are just meant to look "as though" you had tacked them on?

I did see that "glue it on" info, too. But the wierd thing is that they have sharp pointy things coming out the back. I tried to bend them with my eyelet setting hammer, but they don't bend too well...not without really messing up what you are working on. Bummer, they are so cute, but not too user friendly!

Question Hmmmm....

Do you have a wire cutter? Some brands of pliers have a spot (usually nearest to the handles) where there is a wire cutter. I would try snipping those little things off. I would also see if K&Company has a complaint department.
One more idea. Maybe if you only put these onto areas where you are using several layers of cardstock and fabric? Perhaps these are meant to be used on the covers of scrapbooks instead of on the pages or on cards?
