Are there forums for CTMH and CM samples?

Are there websites out there where CTMH products and CM products are featured? In other words, are there sites like this one, but for THOSE products?

I'd be interested also as I know that CTMH consultants have indiv. websites but would be interested to see any larger sites :)

http://stampercentral.com is a discussion forum with an art gallery for CTMH art. It has lots of good stuff. :) It's a fairly new site, so the more people who go and participate the more it will grow and get even better.

Not for CM that I know of. You could be deactivated for sharing your ideas with CM products. I love the fact that SU demos can share their ideas. For me, it makes me buy more stuff. Wish CM knew that.

I don't know anything about CM... but what do you mean you could be deactivated for sharing your ideas with CM products? Huh? Isn't the sharing of ideas a good thing to help boost sales???!!!

Teresa, I couldn't get through on your link, so I took a roundabout route to get to the Forums:

Scrapshare.com is the best place I know to get CM ideas. But you can't have a gallery like Splitcoast. It's frown on by CM to post ideas on the web for their products. They are real touchy after this. We do share ideas thought the "forest". I was a CM Consultant for 2 years and I just got fed up with all the rules. I love the way Splitcoast can operate and we can share our ideas freely. Like I said it just makes me want to buy stuff I didn't like in the Catalog, until I see the great ideas for different stamp sets.

WOW - that's crazy, I had also heard that CM demo's can only use CM products - is that true?

I too love ideas from all over the place.

This is true when you show your albums to at yoru get-togethers or to potential customers. However, for your own personal albums, it's up to you what you want to use.

It kind of does make sense though ... I mean, you are doing your own business. Why would you show items on your sb pages at get-togethers that you don't sell?? You'd be losing $ since showing examples and your own scrapbooks is also an incentive to get your customers to purchase items from you.

CM cons. can use whatever products they want in their personal albums. But you wouldn't want to demo something you don't sell. Just like a SU demo wouldn't demo a product from CTMH and vice versa. When I was with CM, I used lots of different products, although I preferred CM stuff over any other company. I still use mostly CM in my albums. It just helps with the flow of my albums.

As far as CM ideas, they have lots of ideas on their website, and they sell a bunch of different idea books. My favorite is the Fast Formulas series.

bumping - anyone else know of some good CTMH sites for samples? Why can't there be an SCS for each company - really the stamp companies themselves should make the sites like this...don't they realize more people would BUY their products if they saw more samples with their sets???

That is my mother-in-laws album on the site. She did share this with me a few weeks a go. The only thing is they don't have all the sets listed to separate samples into sets like SCS does...maybe as she grows she will do that.

We should keep this thread bumped so more people see this great site. We all want to see more CTMH samples - :-)

You can use the search option to find projects by sets, as long as the poster has put the set name in.
I'd love to be able to seperate them by sets, but, I just don't have the time to have everybody email them to me to post them. :(

Thanks for bumping this up! Would love to someday have it as active as SCS!!
Here's the links again

If you register using the same user name in both, you can then go from one board to the other via the links on the pages.

if you go into the gallery here on scs and type in close to my heart you will get a few pages of ideas.

Tracy-Stamper 05-16-2006 09:08 PM
