Right now Dee Gruening is demo'ing a pocket card on Carol Duvall (HGTV) - she has a way of folding it that is new to me. The directions will also be on the HGTV website, though I did not check that out.

I think the directions might be a little more clear if I actually do it, rather than just read it - but did you notice the directions say to stamp the "Favorite Words" stamp on the front - but the picture looks like a grid stamp was stamped on the front.

hgtv pocket card
I saw that show. I would never have thought of using vellum to make a pocket. I'll have to try that!!
She did stamp a grid on the front & the ribbon was GORGEOUS.
I happened to catch the tail end of that segment - went right to the website for directions. I needed a quick thank you card for a hostess. I used cardstock vellum and brayered it with the fiesta spectrum. It went together just fine. Then I overstamped the front with the paint print background in black. On the tag I stamped island blossoms all over with colors from the fiesta pad and attached some rainbow organdy. Not as fancy as Dee's but the hostess nearly cried when she found it in her order box... very cool.
The image in the link is still pending but will show up tomorrow.
I just posted one to my gallery that I made. I did one thing differently than her directions. After I glued the flaps on the envelope, I turned it over so that the glued edges were to the back. Otherwise, it showed through the front when the card was in and really bugged me.
