I usually take the scrubbing pads out, get them wet, squirt some liquid hand soap on them and rub them together, rinse well, and lean them agains something to dry. If you are in a hurry to dry them, I rub a rag or paper towel on them and then use a blow dryer.

Has anyone ever cleaned stampin scrub pads with Oxy Clean? It seems like mine just do not clean stamps like they use too. They get inky a lot quicker. Do you have to replace them after so may uses?
If I've been using a dark color ink I'll first rinse them out in the sink to get whatever color I can out. Then I spray some Clorex cleaner on it and let it sit. I do make sure that if I use the clorex cleaner on the pads to rinse them afterwords to get the clorex out so it doesn't hurt my stamps.
The angel company sells replacement pads for the scrubber in the white color. I've heard of others using paint scrubbers also.
Has anyone ever cleaned stampin scrub pads with Oxi Clean?
I use Oxi Clean to clean mine. I mix 3/4 teaspoon with 1 cup hot water. Then I pour that into my trays and let it soak for 5 minutes to 5 hours, depending on how long it takes me to remember I left it soaking in the sinnk. After it has soaked I use a scrub brush to go over the pads and rinse until the water runs clear. Then I stand them up in the sink to let them drain and dry.
I make up little containers of Oxi Clean using old embossing jars or eyelet jars. I put the powder in and then punch a circle of cardstock & write the directions on that. I stick it to the lid to cover the EP or eyelet label and put it in my door prize box so if a customer wants the instructions, they have them handy with a little bit of Oxi Clean too.

So, how do you get them out? Mine seem to be glued in and I was afraid to force them out.[/quote]
They're probably just tight since you've never had them out. Try sliding something under an edge,it should come up enogh for you to"bend" it to get it out from under the tabs that hold it in. Good luck!
I think it is time for me to get the refill pads-SU sells teh black ones (which I love b/c I think the white ones always look so dirty even when "cleaned")
I wash in the sink with soap, then turn them upside down to dry on white paper towels-it seems to wick the extra ink away as it dries.

I wash mine(after taking them out of the holder) in the top rack of the dishwasher, a demonstrator told me about it about 5 years ago and I have not had any trouble out of my scrubbers and they come out clean and new looking.
I don't "dry" my dishes in the dishwasher, I bet that may be why the warping. I have my dishwasher set to air dry the dishes. So mine have not warped. I never even thought about not washing them with my regular dishes, that is how mine get washed with the regualar dishes. Thank goodness it is non-toxic.
I just noticed your post, ahudson_hsosc, and you seem to have a totally different experience with cleaning your scrubbing pads in the dishwasher. Do you use a no-heat cycle?
The water is hot to wash them (as hot as the hot water heater is set), and yes, there is a no heat cycle for the drying, so I normally have to hand dry the top rack. I hand wash everything before putting it in so all they need is an extra cleaning and rinsing in the dishwasher. So I bet that is the difference, the heat setting.

Hmm...interesting. I use the heat dry option on my dishwasher and they have never come out warped before. And yes - I just wash them with all of my dirty dishes - I hadn't even thought about that before. Whoops!
