For those of you who have/use one: how do you deal with the cloudy look it makes on the cardstock? Especially dark CS? I have the "buddy" used it once and didn't like what it did to the cardstock. TIA
Maybe you rubbed too hard when you ran it across your cardstock? I use my embossing buddy all the time and have never had this happen. You should be able to just brush it off after you emboss.
Leave the cloudy stuff on until you are finished with the embossing job, then take a swiffer and rub it over the cardstock. Takes all the residue right off. Even on dark paper.

Ohhhh, LOL! Thanks cutie-p! I'd read on SCS some time ago about the swiffer, and tried using it instead of the buddy! I'll have to give the buddy-emboss-swiffer a try. Too funny!
I have had this problem & I love the embossing buddy, but I mainly use it with white/off whites. I think it's great when you're embossing a greating. The swiffer is probably a great tip, never tried that!
I had a problem with using mine. I was rubbing to hard. I would find the cardstock color would be on the buddy and that the paper would elook cloudy! Scince I've been easier on it it works alot better.
I tend to pat my EB on the CS rather than rubbing it over the paper. I get more podwer that way, so there's less chance of the EP sticking where you don't want it.
