Just wondering what everyone thinks about the new 2/$1.00 Valentine stamps at Michaels. I was there yesterday and bought one of each. I thik they are really cute. What do you think?
I heard about them in a thread a few days ago, and checked out both stores in my town. I had good luck at one of them, and got a few for myself (and a few to send to my little sis). I really like the "to" and "from" set, since I just realized that I do not, in fact, have anything like this (even though I had myself convinced that I did in some set...somewhere!). I also picked up the "cutie pie" set (I love cupcakes!), the swirly heart combo, and "puppy love."
Picked up 6 of these new sets just yesterday. Loved them-especially puppy love-maybe because we had 9 puppies 3 weeks ago! I love collecting heart stamps anyway!

I bought 7 sets and I have no idea why. I always have trouble using my M's $1 stamp since I am so used to SU! "sets" of stamps, KWIM? They take all the work out of it for you
But they look really cute sitting on my stamping table ;)
"my" Mikes didn't have much - the bin was nearly empty. Maybe that is a good thing (at least for my wallet!).
I did find a four pack of valentine stamps at target in the $1 spot today. They had pads with red, pink and silver too, which I didn't need but thought it was another fun thing to add to my cart...

I got the "Puppy Love"....too cute! I had to restrain after buying 25 little mailboxes at the target dollar spot, plus some $1 magnetic frames I'm going to try to alter. Oh and the Mike's $1 ribbon!
Oh God! I have been desperately trying to stay out of the stores for awhile....but I think I will be going to Michael's before work tomorrow....I have to see these sets you are talking about!! Yikes!
I am so going there tomorrow! I haven't seen these yet and I have a gift card that my 4 y.o. gave me for Christmas. She told me that she wanted me to be able to go there and buy anything I want. She's so sweet and I love that to a 4 y.o., $20 will buy you anything your heart desires. It's one of the best gifts I ever got, not because of the gift card but the reason behind it. She's my little shopping buddy!
BTW - Target $1 spot also has foam mounted Curious George stamps - so cute! It's a set of 9 with an ink spot. My DD loves stamping with them. For $1 I might buy another set and remount them on wood blocks.

Will have to check them out Tuesday, my next day off work. I to got a Michaels gift card for Christmas from my 3 yr old grandaughter. Her parents took her there to get the gift card. As soon as she walked in the door she said, " this is Michaels, my grandma shops here, where is my grandma?" Scary huh" You know you've spent where to much time there when a 3 yr old can identify a craft store.

I saw them last week and didn't pick any up, I don't know why. I was in a hurry and just went in to buy a gift card. I will need to go back and scope it out
