tag cards
I fell in love with the tag cards during the DTGD challenges. Were they meant to close flat? They were all gorgeous and had many embellishments, but they didn't look like they would be able to close and lie flat in an envelope. It wouldn't matter to me that much since I'm going to try to make one, and just pay more postage!

I have the same question! I tried to do one and could figure out how to mail it to my Grandson?
Anybody have any ideas? |

I'd like to know the answer to this one, too! I know SOMEBODY knows:-D.

Well I can't speak for all tag cards, but mine doesn't close flat, not only that but I added so much ribbon to the tops that it wouldn't fit in an envelope if it did fold flat, lol! I'm sending it to a good friend of mine in a large envelope, I don't mind the x-tra postage;)

So, is there a template for the tag cards, or do you ladies just trace a packing tag 3 times, or what?

I used Yvettes (dd gal) measurements of 9 x 5 1/2 and scored at 3" and 6". I cut my first tag angle then used that piece to trace the other angles so that they all matched.

Thank you!!

Happy Stamping and Scrapping. rita |
Thanks so much for the replies. I made my first tag card yesterday for my daughter's birthday and I really like the way it came out. I had to laugh at myself though. I finished it at the last minute, and it wouldn't fit into the envelope length-wise. I guess all the ribbons made it too long. I had to hand it to her with the card in the envelope side-ways. So, now I know I have to have longer envlopes on hand because I'm never going to be organized enough to make cards ahead of time.
