Default card focal point

Can anyone give me tips on NOT having a focal point stamp for a card?
I have the "froggie kisses" set from CTMH, and it does NOT have a good
focal point stamp. I wanted to make a princess birthday card last night,
but I just can't see any of the stamps as the focal.
I usually like to stamp the cs for a background with smaller stamps, then
use one of the set stamps for a focal- stamp on white cs and color then
mat and lay on top. Add ribbons or bling as I have the energy for.
But this set doesn't work that way for me...
I guess I need an actual princess stamp!

Thanks for any advice,
Anne

i am not familiar with the stamp set you are talking about...

are there maybe 2 or 3 stamps that you want to use from the set. then you could do 2 or 3 'panels' and then mat that as a focal point. i also like the 'film strip' look

clear as mud?!

this is kind of what i am talking about...

SC04, booglie boo to you! by momis mama at Splitcoaststampers

or maybe this...

SC123 & CC116 so very unfrogettable by momis mama at Splitcoaststampers

or something like these...

SC11 Trio of Bitty Boos by momis mama at Splitcoaststampers
SC14 Craft Happy Winter by momis mama at Splitcoaststampers
willy worm by momis mama at Splitcoaststampers
SC#3 toadally unfrogettable! by momis mama at Splitcoaststampers

i am referring to the layouts of these cards. if nothing else you could go to the sketch challenges and find one that works for you. this is always a good starting point for me. good luck!

i hope this helps!

WOW -- great tips and samples from momis mama! Also, when you stamp the "main" frog, use brighter colors then use more muted tones for the background to make him leap out (pun intended!).

That makes sense. I just don't like the images I guess. HA!

Thanks,
