Default TAC Stamps

I just signed up with TAC b/c they had a really good deal going on in March and I was very comfortable with the minimums. I really wasn't sure what to expect about the stamps...but I just want to say that I LOVE them.
I love that I can see through the acrylic block but that they are still rubber
so the quality of the image I am getting is really, really good.
I even showed my DH the images I was getting from "all things of nature"
and he said "Wow I've never seen anything that good from any of your other stamps!"
There is somthing about the rubber..it is a little softer or squishier or something. I feel like I don't have to work so hard to get a detailed image to come out clearly. Has anyone else noticed this about the TAC rubber?
Anyway I was up playing with them forever last night and the night before
until DH said "Uh what time next week should we schedule the intervention?"
LOL!

Glad you are happy with the stamps...I signed up 4 years ago basically sight unseen and I'm still happy!

Welcome!

I, too, signed up pretty much sight unseen (just hoping I would like unmounted and not hate it!) because the deal was so good that I would've been crazy not to--and no regrets here either! I have always been very happy with the way the rubber stamps, and have really liked being able to re-align the stamp on my block if it is a little crooked (to the parallel edge, for words) the first time, something I can't do with my mounted stamps--if they get on crooked I just have to use my SAMJ.

Glad to have you as a fellow Angel, freeindeed!

I'm not a demo of any kind but I also love TAC stamps! I have tons of both SU and TAC but I too love that you can see through the block and the stamp is still rubber. I have clear stamps too but I definitely prefer the rubber. Boy does TAC have some cute sets in April! LOVE that daisy SOTM!!

I'm not a demo, but also have recently jumped on the TAC bandwagon. I just acquired All Things of Nature during Jubilee and absolutely love it. I just uploaded a card this am using the flourishes from the menu set. I'm so thankful for this site or I would have never heard of TAC or found my demo.

Welcome to our new angels!! I signed in August after using TAC stamps for about a year. Absolutely no regrets for me! I'm totally excited about the 2 catties per year. Hoping for "branded" inks and papers this year!

Welcome to TAC. I joined over a year ago, resigned and signed up with another company, and now I am back with TAC. I guess that says it all... Love it!

I agree that the blue rubber is much more soft and flexible than I find with traditional rubber stamps. I'm not sure whether this gives me a clearer image, however. It is definitely easier to cut through!

I'd like to welcome all of you new angels to TAC!!!! I remember the excitement I felt so I understand your late night stamping and DH scheduling intervention! Too funny!

FYI - there is an "angels only" forum on A Shade of Blue. It's a website with a message board, tutorials, and just like SCS - it's for ANY and ALL paper crafters. But there IS an angels only forum since there are a lot of TAC demos on there. http://www.ashadeofblue.net
Just thought I'd mention it. It's great to be able to keep up on business and seminar talk!

I just wanted to mention that sign up special ends March 31st! But TAC has let us know that there will be another sign up special starting mid-April! I added up the retail value of the bonus stamps and it came to $50.80 so it's another good one.

Hi Debbie,

We are Angel Demonstrators for The Angel Company, I have been an Angel for 3 plus years now and never looked back. I do have to agree about the stamping image that you get, there is a set called So Glam and my neighbors daughter bought it, I cut for her and put it in a cd case and "indexed" it for her and wow I just had to get that set.

We specialize in um stamps and use the acrylic blocks. If you have any other questions, just ask as we will all answer you.

I totally LOVE and I mean LOVE TAC.

Welcome Welcome Welcome, you will totally LOVE it. The next bonus feature for signing up with TAC is when Spring Fever or Fling, I get them mixed up all of the time, anyway On April 18, 2007 when someone signs up they will get all FOUR of the sets for free, now that is pretty awesome isn't.

Well I am off, I just wanted to send out a welcome to you.

Why oh why oh why is it that all these wonderful companies are only available in US and maybe Canada?
I can't wait for SU to arrive in UK in the autumn/fall, but I wish TAC would become available too! Sigh! I suppose it saves me a lot of money!

It is easy to do yourself, but in 4 years of being a demo, I've only "had" to do that once and that was when we moved to a new state. It's nice that UMs have become a bit more accepted these days...and the price is right.

That's the great thing about TAC - there are a lot of "hobbyist" demos who just buy the $100 every 4 months for themselves, and TAC is fine with that. Demos do get a 30% discount but discounted orders do NOT count toward the $100 requirement and do not earn commission. So I pay full price and get my 25% commission back, and I've met my requirement. It's all good!

Well I did um most of my SU sets just because the wood blocks seem kind of cumbersom to me. So I sold a big chunk and that is what got me to seminar and then I kept a few of my most favs and UM them and love that. It really isn't that hard. You should try it. TAC does sell the creative cling and so that is a good think. You get alot of wm on the cling. Just a thought, I am sure anyone of us could help you get that.

I signed up in 2004. I had been in a buyers club. So I had already started building my Collection of TAC stamps and supplies.
I'm glad that I joined TAC. I have been able to keep up with the minimums and have been very happy with things so far.

Our stamps are deeply etched into the rubber and I have always gotten good images from them.. The inks that we sell work great with our rubber stamps too.
I don't know if it matter's that our stamps are Blue Rubber or not. But they seem to be a bit softer. And stay that way for a long time. Well as long as you take care of them.

Enjoy TAC and playing with your stamps!!

TAC sends out commission checks twice each month. Yeah, some people like to get "instant commission" but for me personally, I like the feeling of having a paycheck. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I am hoping TAC has another awesome sign-up special in July. I want to sign-up, but I need to save some money first and I also want to start with new catalogs.

I am definitely hooked on TAC. I like the lower minimums and by going unmounted, I can have more stamps and stored in less space.

I can hardly wait.

I am a little confused! So you only need 100.00 every 4 motnhs--I get that. How do you decided whether it is a discounted order? If I spend 100.00 in May then will I get 25.00 back in a check and my quota is filled? Do you get a free cattie for yourself when a new one comes out? I am currently a SU demo but the minimums are killing me right now! I do prefer the SU images but I am sure the TAC the images will grow on me for a 200.00 minumum difference!! LOL How much is shipping through TAC? Thanks for any other info you could give me!

I signed up as a hobby demo about three years ago and I love the stamps. I can hardly stamp with wood mounted stamps anymore. In fact I usually unmount all my wood mounted.

Glad you like the stamps and the company so well. Have fun creating with your stamps.

It is only considered a "discount" order if you put it on a demonstrator discount order. If you put the $100 in at full retail, than that is what is counted toward your minimums. And, yes, you will get $25 of that back in commission. So, really the minimums are more like $75 every 4 months since you get $25 of a $100 order back.

You do get a free catalog when they come out although TAC hasn't told us yet how this will work with the bi-annual catalogs now.

Shipping is 10% of the order total.

Hope that helps!!

You cannot sign up as a demo if you live in Canada. Some of us demos do ship to Canada (it would have to be shipped to a demo, and then shipped to you). It is possible to have a workshop.

Jen answered everything so clearly but I wanted to add that I always order as a customer so that I get the benefits as well! So with a $30 order I get at minimum the GWP but I can also take advantage of the special offers (ie. Spring Fling, Fever and Jubilee!) and as a hostess, I get the hostess sets plus the chance to buy stuff at half price! Does it get any better than that?!?
