Talking Looking to borrow SU Wild Rose Set in the Sacramento CA area

Hi everyone!

I am looking for some help so that I can help someone else! I want to help fill a swap but unfortunately do not have the stamp set to do the swap. I need the Wild Rose stamp set by Stampin Up. It's not a set that is usually "my style" so I don't want to run out and by it just yet but I'd be more than willing to try it out and make cards for this swap.

I was hoping to find someone in the Sacramento, CA area that would be kind enough to let me borrow it for an evening or two so that I could make six cards for this swap. I am a very responsible stamper who takes very good care of her own stamps and would be more than happy to lend out a set (or two, or three) of my own if wanted.

If anyone out there would be willing to help me out please respond to this thread or feel free to PM me! Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend!

You might have more luck asking for someone to send you some images from the set you are looking for. I know a lot of people do not lend out their stamp sets unless it is to family. They are a big investment and others might not know how their stamps are going to be used. Just a thought.

Good luck!

I realize that I am asking a lot in asking to borrow someone's stamps but I figured it was worth a shot, especially since I was asking so that I could help out a fellow stamper!

Please explain your idea of asking for "images" of the set. Would that help with making cards for the swap?

Thanks for your input - any replies are appreciated!!!

Have a great weekend

Hi there. Sorry I can't help you out. I have hundreds of stamp sets but not that one. I felt compelled to reply because I live in Roseville. Wish you luck in finding the set.

If you asked for the complete set of Wild Rose images to be stamped a certain number of times, in a certain ink, and on a certain kind or colour of paper, someone can stamp them to your specifications and mail them to you.

I don't suppose your demo (if you have one) or any stamping buddies have this set?

Sorry, that should read, "some kindhearted soul may generously volunteer to..." Stampers are so generous, and I certainly appreciate it!!!

Wow, that is a great idea - having someone stamp the images and send them to me... That's incredible! People would do that?!

I'll have to think up a card idea with colors and get back to this thread - Thanks so much for all your help everyone!
