Default mounting Greetings Galore

I need to mount the Greetings Galore set and I'd like to mount the words seperately from the image, but there's not much room between the words and the image and I'm afraid I'll cut into the image. Has anyone else tried this? Any advice?

Thanks!

I have not tried it with Greetings Galore, but I did it with Little Hellos and then the stinking stamps didn't fit all back into the box!!! I was irritated! But, now, you can just buy a bigger box if you run into that problem. I suggest you make sure they will fit back into the box they came in if you do it that way. Other than that, just carefully cut the word out and you shouldn't have a problem. The little hellos set had some smaller words too, and they worked out fine.

I did it and it worked just fine. I used the Craft and Rubber Scissors from SU. As far as fitting inside the box, they fit perfectly snug. I am glad I did it.

I mounted A Little Love using some tiny suture removal scissors from work. They are similar to fingernail scissors.

I wish I would have known about this little trick back when I started stamping about a year or so ago! I love the idea of being able to use just the words. I have done so by just coloring the words with a black marker, but since I don't have the SU markers (yet!), I can't match colors if I use a different stamp pad. Oh well, Christmas is right around the corner....

I did it and it works great! I just mounted the words to the end of the block like you would do with Everyday Flexible or Expressive Phrases. The blocks fit back in my box with room to spare.
