Question RAK List

Just wondering what you have to do to get on the RAK list.... ? I keep making cards and I need somewhere to send them. :-)

There is also a little paragraph on the left side of the home page, with a link to click on. Disneywed, I was second.

BTW, if you have cards left over after sending RAK's, there are several people on this site collecting cards to send to the military - they send bunches of blank cards so the troops can use them to send home. I think if you do a search on troops, military, or some such in the "general talk" forum you will come up with them. Just another idea.

I did this 7 days ago... and also PM'd Gina yesterday and have gotten no response. I guess they're not accepting any new people or something.... not sure what's up.

It does say that memberships are approved bi monthly. This group is run strictly by volunteers who work full time.

Gina often travels out of country for work, but she will definitely approve you when she has a free moment! In the mean time, you can keep stamping and getting RAK's ready, there are over 1500 people or so in the group!!!

I thought of something else, for the meantime. There are lots of RAK requests in the "Need a lift" Forum - you can send to people but most likely will not receive any.

Oh good, thanks for clearing that up for me! I must've missed the bi-monthly part. I will try to be patient. :-)

Also, is it "couth" to send card fronts as a RAK or should they always be full cards?

I don't know if it is a rule or not, but I am pretty sure most Rak-er's just love getting a surprise envelope regardless of content!

I'm so glad this was posted b/c I also requested to join the RAK group. I was told it would take a few days but I was beginning to wonder if it had been "tossed out", so to speak. Now I know it hasn't!

Thanks.
