Default Sympathy cards

Does anyone have any nice sympathy cards? Would you mind sending me your links? My friend's daughter was killed while jogging two days ago by a hit-and-run driver, so I need to send a special card. Thanks.

My deepest sympathy to your friend and her family. I really don't have any links to suggest but try going into the gallery and looking under cards for the SU sympathy stamp set. It's called Close as a Memory which is the new set from the 2006-2007 catty. You can also do a search in the gallery for sympathy. HTH
Hugs, Joanne

There are also a lot of sympathy cards made with Roses In Winter as one of the quotes is sympathy related.

that is so sad. I made a sympathy card during the last VSN using a stamp that has a nice sentiment.
Outside: In Sympathy & Friendship
Inside: Our hearts, our prayers and our love are with you.

It's by My Sentiments Exactly!
here's the link to the one I made

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's daughter. Below is a link of one that I have made. It has a beautiful verse that is printed with a printer, not a stamp.

I am SO SORRY to hear that. A very good friend of mine was killed by a hit and run driver in Napa Valley while riding his bike last summer. It was so devastating and left us with so many unanswered questions.

Here is a link to one that I made (the picture in my gallery is a thank you card cased from my sympathy card which I did not post):

And here is a link to a card I put into my favorites because the sentiment is so beautiful:

If you have "Heartfelt Thanks", I think that would make a nice sympathy card. Or how about "Watercolor Garden" and "Watercolor Minis".

I'm sorry for your friend. I can't even imagine the pain she is suffering right now!

If I knew how to give you a "link", I would to this beautiful card I just recently cased to add to my supply of sympathy cards. The stamper is EHochstein, so I would imagine you can go to her gallery and seek out both the outside and inside of this card. Or do a search for Heartfelt Sympathy 1 and Heartfelt Thanks Interior. I typed the sentiments on the cardstock and then added the stamping. I plan to "change" the interior verse to whichever family member had passed. The example gives Father and he. I would think it could be changed to daughter and she without much of a problem. I just thought this card and the sentiment was so beautiful, I had to copy the lovely work our fellow stamper EHochstein did. Thanks to her.

For some reason, all of the links posted here are taking forever to load, so I haven't actually seen which ones were posted so far. It just so happens that I added three sympathy cards to my favorites today. This evening, I got a phone call that my mother's uncle had died suddenly. (It's very different because he lived a full life, but I thought it was such a coincidence that I was thinking about sympathy cards all day.) Anyway, I'm going to see if I can find them and post the links.
I have a stamp I bought at AC Moore last year. It's got a quote for the outside and a quote for the inside all on one stamp. I highly recommend that if you can get to the store.
Can you give us an idea of what sets you have that you might be able to use?

I can't get my cards to open. I'll try again tomorrow.

Thank you so much to everyone for their ideas of stamp sets and various links. All have been very, very helpful. I've decided to use my Watercolor Garden set to create a very peaceful card with shades of soft purples and pinks using the Cracked Glass technique. Thanks again for all the warm thoughts and prayers. What a fabulous stamping community.
