Default Sympathy Card, Part 2

I can't believe it was less than a week ago when I made a plea to the forum about whether or not it was okay to use my Heartfelt Thanks set for a sympathy card. I ended up using the set and made the card in brocade blue, night of navy, and mellow moss.

Sadly, I just found out tonight my Dad's cousin has passed away. I'd like to make 4 cards for my family members. As I was looking through the gallery, I noticed some cards had some really thoughtful sentiments on them. The one I made last week had a Native American Proverb on it, (I had seen it in the gallery) and it was perfect.

Does anyone here know where can I find some more sentiments similar to that? Is there a web site or a book I can get from the library?

Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thank you so much!

You can check out quotegarden.com, or do a google search of free card verses, sentiments or proverbs. You should be able to find several.

I like the one that says, "Gone are not those who are in the hearts of others". Chinese Proverb.

Sorry for your loss.

Here are ones I have saved:

Words can never express
how my heart aches for
you in the pain of your loss.
I pray you feel God's
comforting presence,
holding you close with
His healing love.
When God
takes a loved one
away from us,
He leaves the best part
in our hearts.
Nothing that the heart
gives away is gone
...it is kept in
the hearts of others.
Maybe when we
die, our Real Selves
shake off the
confines of our
skin & bones
&even those who
never dnace or
turned cartwheels
on Earth will
pirouette & spin
lightly, gaily
gorgeously
through the
cosmos.

May your sorrow
pass quickly
and your memories
last forever

Is is not the
Length of Life,
but the
Depth of Life

Cast your eyes on the ocean
Cast your soul to the sea..
When the night's neverending
Please remember me...

"When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure."

"The ones we love are never lost though from this earth they're gone, Their
memories held within our hearts will linger on and on"

Thank you so much, Lisa and Shannon, for your much needed, and VERY much appreciated input. It's comforting to me to know there are people "out there" who are willing to lend a hand when need be.

Thanks again!
