SU's Tear & Tape Adhesive

I'm curious about Stampin Up's Tear & Tape Adhesive (pg. 182 in the new cattie). How does it compare to extra strong adhesives like Scor-Tape and Red Line Tape .... have any of you compared them?

I would say it's in between - it seems stickier than Scor-Tape, and a little less sticky than red line tape.

Thanks, Lydia .... that gives me a clear picture!!

Anyone know how these compare to FSJ's tear and tape?

I love it! I used to only use Stampin' Up's red tape (think it was the same as red line tape) so I was a little worried when they retired it. Tear and Tape is so much easier to use, but still sticks great.

Holding fast!

I have been making pillow boxes as a new craft project. I used to rely on the red tape for closures, but have since used the SU tear n tape. These boxes have a curve. So far, no problems, even after adding paper shred and candies to the boxes. They are simple to make with the board, can have a small die cut opening, can be decorated minimally, and can be seasonal or used for specific occasions by cardstock choice. Once I finish a variety and take pics, I can post.

Looking forward to seeing your pillow box creations! Glad to hear that the Tear and Tape is working well as a red tape substitute.
