Why don't we hear from any stamping men? I know from magazines that there are some very talented male stamp artists out there. Are there any male SU demos? We always seem to refer to ourselves as ladies in the forums. Are we excluding anyone by doing this?
Ok, then! I just checked out their blogs and they look very interesting and talented! Thanks! Will we hear more from men if we lure them out of their studios? (Do we WANT to hear more from men?)
I got a very nice PM the other day from someone named Greg. I assume that's a man, but I also know that Jeff Foxworthy calls his wife that. I think it's a nickname, though! He complimented my gallery so much that I had to have my DH widen the doorways to fit my swollen head!

My DH doesn't stamp but he enjoys looking at the new catties when they come out and he definitely has opinions about stamp sets he likes.
I bought ARTIFACTS because he liked it and IN THE WILD is on my wishlist.
Well, I'm glad to have provided the humor for the day! Seriously though, this Greg (Pure_Genius) sent me the nicest PM saying that he had gone through my gallery and faved about 30 cards! I was seriously just floating from how big my head got!!! (Now it matches the size of my butt!)
'bout 2 weeks ago there was a long piece in the wall street journal about men who stamp/scrap. The story focussed on a 27 year old single fireman who wanted to make a book ( I forget the topic) it was interesting, odd, but interesting.
I just went to your gallery and your cards are beautiful. I can see why you recieved the compliments that you did.

I have a really good friend who is a male stamper, he's very talented and he's taught some classes at the local stores around here. We went together last year to the big stamp convention in Cincinnati and *everyone* knew him, it was so funny, all these ladies kept yelling "Hi" to him or coming up and hugging him, I guess he's very popular and well known because he's one of the few men around here that stamps
Ya know, it would kind of make sense that there have to be men stampers. I mean, look at how many artists are men. So I think that there may be more out there than we realize -- or maybe they just are too embarrassed to admit they enjoy a "woman's hobby"!
