I am thinking to try it with daubers instead cause I don't own the spots. I'll let ya know how it works out....won't be the same, but it's the best I can do.

Emily, I was thinking of alternatives too. and the first thing I thought of was using a sponge. will have to try to do it today

Hey, do you think the square stamp from little shapes would work? I don't have the spots either.

I think a sponge would look cool also. I love this idea- a great selling point for the spots!

Ok, I uploaded my first tries. Whoever suggested the square stamp from shape-ups, it's perfect!! I think mine looks a bit "smeary-er" than Beate's, but I liked the look! Now I am making more!!

Wow! I'm excited about a technique that looks simple and uses supplies I actually have on hand! I'll have to give this a try, but probably won't be until tomorrow evening. I'll let you know how it turns out!
