My husband asked me to make a card with no layers, no embellishments. This was just a hard task for me! Please look at the attached and give your thoughts

My husband's father passed away recently and this is thank you note for the guys he works with.

I really wanted to something really nice, but he already had his mind made up. It is going to be hanging on a magnet board, he said layers would make it too heavy.

I think it's a pretty, simple card, and you accomplished what he wanted you to do:)

Looks like you gave him what he asked for. Not to worry. Guys like these things simple and direct - especially if it's for another guy. Now go make the card the way you really wanted to and send it to someone special.
