Default Paper piercing tool punch from SU

What is this "paper piercing tool punch" coming out in Sept. by SU?
If it's a punch, does it punch out paper shapes like the ones shown in the catalog?
Are there any samples using it in the SCS card gallery?
I love SCS! It's like Disneyworld for stampers!

It's actually a paper piecing tool punch. It punches 3 side by side trapezoids that can be used as accents, or the holes can be used as coloring templates. If you punch diferent colors, you can mix and match the pieces to make even moore colorful accents. Can you tell I fell for the sales spiel at convention? And am looking forward to having my very own?

So it actually punches out 3 pieces at one time? Is this the basis for the cards that have sort of a picket fence look embellishment along one side/edge? Over this "fence" effect they have vellum or cardstock over the length of it with a greeting stamped on it? Is this what you mean?

Default example on front of new catty

I can't wait for this punch either. I will be one of the first people ordering 12 am central time. The example of this punch is used on the Thanks card with the 3 leaves from All The Best w/ the pinks, browns, and blues along the bottom. It's a fun, simple look, and now you don't have to worry about trying to get all your scraps to be about the same size and shape.

Great for us anal stampers.

Default Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought there are

2 different things you ladies are talking about. One is in the tool kit and makes a small hole so you can decorate a border or strip of CS on a card and use as an embellishment, while the actual pieced punch cuts out shapes so you don't have to do it to place strips of card stock on your creations.

Curious to hear the REAL answer.

Cindy Lou ,
The tool punch - not out until September - is what I described in the first response to the post. It is a new style, whale tail type tool punch, as opposed to a hand held punch.
The tool kit includes a sharp piercing tool for making tiny holes in paper - useful for threading buttons, making bee trails, or just subtle accents.
I understood the post to be about the tool punch. Am I right, Bernie?
Hope this helps.

I didn't think much of this until I saw the ideas for it at convention and I will be ordering it as soon as it is available! One of the things they showed at convention was that you could punch your pieces out of different colors of cardstock, save the negative part (the part that now has holes in it where the pieces were punched out) and use that as a way of lining up your punched pieces without have to fiddle with them, just line them up in the windows and stick down!

There is a good example of the punch right on the cover of the catty! It is the bottom card. They punched different colors and pieced them together.
