Submitting a card to SU...good enough?

Alright you all! I would love to submit a card to SU! but I have two problems. One, do you think this is good enough (after I substitute the moss gingham on Monday for the non-SU! shown here)

And 2. I'm not going to convention so would anyone be willing to take it for me?

Please be honest with me!

Lorie,

It is definitely good enough, I love that Anne Franke quote. Have you seen my gallery some of them are not nearly as good as this and I would send a couple of them.

I am not going to convention either because I just got back from one. Maybe next year.

The card is very nice. I'm not sure what criteria SU uses when choosing the cards for publication. Do cards need to be submitted at the convention? Is that the only way they are considered? I'm not a demo so I am clueless!

Not sure what the criteria is either but I think you did a great job with the card. The quote is very appropriate. GOod luck.

The quote is PERFECT with that stamp! What a cool card! The only thing I can think of to add to the card is to make the vellum look a little roughed up (for lack of a better term) so it is more consistent with the serviceman image above - for example, can you either tear the vellum and/or use the DTP technique to add a little green color around the edges?

Go for it ... the card is wonderful!

I love this card, I think you did an awesome job on it, and I wouldn't hesitate sending it in for a minute!! :)

WOW, I think the card is really nice! If you were going to change anything, I agree with someone else who said to ink or "rough up" the vellum a little to age it to fit in better with the masculine look of the stamp.
