Question Stampin Up help!

o.k. My Stampin up party lady told me to go to this site. She said that there are ideas for cards that go with each stamp set. At least that is what I remember from our talk a week ago. I have looked and looked for stampin up stuff, and I'm so lost. What I'm really looking for is card ideas. I am just getting started with making cards all because my daughter is in scrap booking for 4-H. I kinda fell onto Stampin Up, and I really like the process of making cards, but I'm so not creative. I need ideas. Where do I go??? I thought my lady told me there is a section where you plug in the name of the stamp set and up pops a bunch or things made with that set. For all I know, she may have given me the wrong site, but I have been on here for a few hours and have seen nothing like that. I did come across some ideas, but it is nothing I have yet.

Thanks for the help!

Jenn

Hi Jenn,

You came to the right place! Click on 'Gallery' at the top of the page. When you are on the 'Gallery' menu, scoll down to 'SU Galleries'. Lots of ideas by stampset!

Go to gallery. Then click on "SU Galleries" with the birdie on it. Then you will find icons to click on that have groupings of letters in alphabetical order. Pick a stamp set and click on the group that begins with the beginning letter of the set. Then scroll down to your set. If the set is from either of the last two mini catalogs it will be in the group at the upper left with the leaves on the icon. Good luck. It is addicting. There is so much to look at you can spend hours and hours - my problem.

And welcome to SplitCoastStampers!:p

Just watch your pocketbook!;) There's way too many great ideas and helpful tips on here, but you soon realize that you need nestabilities and stamps and paper and embossing powder and and and...

It's addicting to say the least, especially after you start browsing all the gorgeous work in the galleries! Enjoy!

Also, you can be notified when a new card or project posts so you don't have to keep checking back to see if there are additional ideas. Once you are in the set you want to see go to the bottom and on the left side check on Subscribe to Gallery. You will get an email when there is a new post. If you no longer want to get the emails just go back and click on the Subscribe to Gallery again and you will be unsubscribed. I like getting emails when there is a new card to a set I like.

If you are looking for retired SU sets, you can go to the Buy/Sell/Trade forum here to look for it to purchase from another SCS member.

Also, I suggest that you post in the ISO (in search of) section ~ I've always found what I was looking for by posting there!

Good luck and welcome to SCS!!
