Default adult craft

I have been "invited" to teach a craft at our church's Vacation Bible School next week. The class will be for both men and women as our VBS is in the evenings. Previously at church events we have stamped on dominoes and made them into magnets and we have stamped on tiles and made coasters.

I need to keep the cost as low aspossible and I would rather not repeat what I have taught before.

Any ideas adults might like?

What about the paperclip bookmarks? They are cute.

Maybe this sounds terrible but I have no idea what our theme is.

What size paperclips get used for the bookmarks? And where is the cheapest place to buy them? I can search the gallery for ideas on that one. Is anything used on the paper parts to keep them hard? Do they get laminated?

The paperclips are about 4 inches. You can get then at Walmart, OfficeMax, Office Depot and I think sometimes Target. I got gold ones at OfficeMax. They had gold and silver. Here is some in the gallery. Boxes, Baskets, Bags and Bows by marilynmac at Splitcoaststampers They are really fun to do.

If I look for the paper clips at Wal Mart would they be in the craft section or the office section? I know you are thinking I can go and look myself, but I shop with kids so the less looking around I have to do, the better my sanity will be.

Office section.

I want to add that men love the crimper-at least my dh and kids do, so maybe you could make some cards and use some of your tools.

I second the crimper idea. My husband likes anything with tools hammering-eyelets, heatgun-embossing and the crimper. Maybe you could do a Family Night game kit? Here is a dice game that I did Dice Games to Go by sammamishcert at Splitcoaststampers
I'm not sure how many people you've got to buy for. Depending on your area the dice could add up. If you were interested in that I've also got a little book of games I put together for our girl scout troop. I put it in one of those dollar store photo books. I could send you the templates for all of those and the dice games. There's also a decoder ring template in my gallery.

Maybe these ideas are more suited for the kids at VBS, though.
