SU reinker problem

I have 4 reinkers that I am having difficulty with. The ink seems to be pooling in the top of the bottle and doesn't drop out at all, but barely seeps out making it close to impossible to reink my pads. All 4 are from the set of in colors that include Primrose Petals. Has anyone had a problem like this? Besides sending them back, does anyone have any suggestions on a way to get the top unplugged or just get the ink out so I can get it on my pad? I was a demo at the time I ordered, but I am no longer.

Julie, arthritis in my thumb makes it difficult to squeeze out those drops, too. Recently, I took my scissors to the tip of my StazOn refill and clipped it off very close to the top. Worked like a charm, though it now runs a bit faster than I thought it would so be careful.

Did you try poking a straight pin in the hole in the top? I would do that first and then put the lid back on and shake the bottle like crazy for a bit and try again.

Is there ink stuck in the nozzle part when the refill bottle has been sitting upright for a while? Or is the nozzle part pretty clean when the ink is all down in the bottle?

Another vote for sticking a pin in the hole. I've had to do that with several of my reinkers.

I just pop off the top and stir with a toothpick, replace the top and ink is ready to flow out nicely.

Yes, there is ink stuck in the nozzle part. I did try poking something in the top.

Had to do the pin in the bottle with some of mine a few days ago. It works fine now.

Thanks

Thanks all! I tried a longer pin and it seems to have worked.

I have had one or two that didn't work good and snipped the tops off more and now they work fine. Poking something would have worked too but I was in a hurry!!! LOL!!!
