SU Purchase-Is it a good price
I have just started stamping and I just found a person selling the following items but I have no clue if its a good price. Do you think $125.00 is fair?
Sets:
Pretty Princess (mounted - new)
Heartfelt Thanks (used)
Fresh Fillers (used)
Simple Somethings (new)
So Very (new - not mounted)
Along the same lines (new - not mounted)
Symbols of Salvation (mounted - used)
Simple Wishes (mounted -new) $5
Merry Christmas, Congrats, Happy Birthday (I don't have the name for this set)
Very Punny (new - not mounted)
Accesories:
Stampin' Pastels
Stampin' Scrub
Stampin' Around with 2 Wheels Tons of cardstock
Idea book & Catalog 2005-2006 (4)
cd (demonstrator manual)
maganizes with ideas
inspirations sheets
guide with colors of inks and ribbons
Also I found these other things that I will give you:
1 more stamp set (Celebrate!)
6 inkpads (need refill) (bashful blue, blush blossom, pretty in pink, certainly celery, lavender lace and barely banana)
1 versamark (watermark stamp pad)
2 more inks (silver and coffee bean) other brand.
There are a couple more things I'm probably forgetting but I'll give you everything I have

It is a very good deal! You will have lots of fun with these things. If you have a SU! demo, you can get the ink refills you need and she can give you tips on using wheels etc. You will not need many new things at all with this lot and you will be able to stamp like crazy! Look here on SCS in the galleries for ideas for the particular sets you are getting.

rubyc.......If you're interested in those items, it sounds like a good deal. I would ask a few questions first though of the Seller.
The condition of the used stamp pads.....stained, clean?
If you're wanting to use the stamps un-mounted, tell her to keep the wood blocks (this would save on your shipping cost).
The ink pads, says needs refill......does this mean the pads are dried out....what condition are they in.....are you interested in purchasing the refills for them?
What condition are the other stamp pads in?
Sounds like this person may have been a former Demonstrator. With the manuals, magazines and sheets, that sounds like a super source for ideas, no matter how old they may be.
Check what the shipping would be for you. If all checks out to your liking, go for it!
Yes, I know I may sound a bit negative and cautious, but it's not a good deal if you are not happy once you get the items.

Without knowing the exact prices of each item, I'd guess there must be close to $300 worth of stuff there and it sounds like most of it's new. If you have an extra $125, I'd say jump on it!

So I finally got to look thru all the things I got with this purchase and everything on the list plus more is what I got for 125.00. Most of the stamps are new and the ink pads are in good condition. I am super excited to use them this weekend.

Congratulations, now have fun playing with everything and post pictures of what you make. P.S. with the money you have saved buying all this stuff at such a great price, you now have more money for other supplies.
