My advice would be to invite a lot of people - the more people who order or come, the more benefits you'll get. I invite anyone who has gotten a card from me and made a positive comment. To me, those are possible people who are interested in stamping.

Another piece of advice is to give a deadline for when you're closing your show and get your pre-orders w/ checks in advance. I think that's only fair to your guests who ordered something - that their items get ordered ASAP.

I also have my wishlist all planned out so if my show is $40 or so away from another show benefit level, I can quickly say - here's what I want to order to get to that next level. Although I usually order a lot more than $40.....

Have fun! Getting free stuff is the best!!!

Try to let everyone know that you want to close out your party that night. So many times you'll get people who want to think about it and give you their order in a few days. Then you end up having to keep on them to get their order in so you can see what stuff you've earned. Plus, the longer it takes to close out the party, the longer it'll be to get your merchandise once the party is closed and the demonstrator can finally put in the order. With the on-line catty, there's no reason why people can't have a pretty good idea of what they might be interested in. Granted, they may want to add stuff to their list based on what's shown at the party, but the merchandise shouldn't be new to them (can see it on-line).

Also, don't plan a big food spread. Depending on what time it is, most people have just eaten lunch or dinner and don't eat much at the party. Have something light like maybe some lemonade and cookies or something similar.
