Heat and Stick allows your glitter to truly adhere without having to resort to a liquid glue. It provides a more even coverage of glitter (or Pearl Ex Powders). I love to use it on big snowflake stamps. You can use Versa Ink or Craft Ink.

Stamp your image, sprink the Heat n' Stick over it and shake off the excess, heat it (it will become shiny) and then, while it's still shiny, pour your glitter or PearlEx over the top of it and shake off the excess. You will get full coverage!

HTH!

You need to reheat after sprinkling on glitter but not PearlEx.

I love this site! I have a stamp camp on Saturday, my heat and stick and red glitter comes tomorrow, and I had NO IDEA how to do it! Thanks so much for the explanation! You just saved me a few hours of frustration and trial and error!

The powder can be a little tempermental and it is important not to overheat it. Stop as soon as you see it melt.

I love the effects of my heat and stick powder, but I have a hard time telling when it's done "setting" after I pour glitter on top of it and reheat it. How long should I reheat it?
