You'd think they would have the online ordering all under control before the release date of the catty.

I"m sure that their server is just so overloaded with people trying to download the new catalog - myself included. guess we'll just have to keep trying.

I'm having problems too. Almost got it all the first time but about mid way it just died. Another time I got all but the last somewhere around the 100K before it decided to error out. Couldn't even page though the pages that had downloaded on that one. All this in about 5 hours.
UGH, think I'm just going to give up and wait till Saturday when I get my catty from my demo. I was just hoping to hand her my first order as she was giving me my catty.

I was able to download it today! It took forever but it sure was fun looking thru it. I'm going to dump the file as soon as the real thing shows up.

Another frustrated person here. Also just wanted to look through the catalog and put together an order, but my computer won't let me see the catalog. SU's loss; I'm taking my stamping budget to a more friendly company where I can order tonight.

I was able to download it, although it did take 2 hours. But, I was able to just view it if I went through a demo's website. I just used the demo locator to find a demo with a website and clicked on the catty link on their site. It took a couple minutes to load the full catty, but I was able to flip through all the pages without having to download it. You might want to try it that way! Good luck!

I tried several times to download the new catty as well and got booted off or timed out. I live on the East coast and tried downloading in the middle of the night when there may have not been as much web activity going on. When my DH got up for work at 3:30 am the next morning, it was all downloaded! Of course I got my new catty from my demo that day.

This is correct. They have not given us an official start date for online ordering, but they did say last night in our teleconference that it MAY be late summer or early fall (fall begins Sept 21). They also said that they have done some work that should make it easier to download the PDF....

It is easier to have someone send it from their computer as a download (attachment) than to download from the SU site!

This is an old thread. The online catalog is now available, or you can download it here in our DOWNLOADS forum under Lists and Charts - here -

The "discount" is actually the regular catalog price. If you elect to purchase from Stampin' Up! without using a demonstrator you pay the higher price, no Stampin' Rewards and higher minimum shipping. If you make your purchase through a demonstrator's website you'll pay the lower price plus lower shipping and the potential to earn Stampin' Rewards (hostess benefits).
