SU 2007-2008 catalog - when? Frequency? *merged*

Hi all,
I heard some buzz awhile ago about SU possibly changing the frequency of their catalog distribution . . . if that is correct when will the next one be released?

SU will be going to two a year.

July - Dec
Jan - June

New one will be in July as you would expect but will only run until the end of December.

It's true, there will now be 2 cattys a year. The next catty will be released July 2007 called the Fall / Winter Collection and then there will be another catty released in Jan 2008 called Sping/ Summer Collection.

It's only February, heading into March . . .

As I understand it, the new catalog won't be released until mid-July 07.

It's a bit little early, my excited friend! ;)

Stampin' Up Mini-Catalogs will come out twice a year in March & September (called "Occasions Mini Collection" and "Holiday Mini Collection").

Wow! Two catalogs a year? Won't that get kind of spendy for demos? Although I suppose the catalog price would go down too.

It's not coming out till July and demos *might* get to see a couple of the sets in late May/early June?? (I say *might* b/c SU! hasn't said anything and they usually don't till then anyway)

The catalogue will be available to customers on July 1, either through the SU! website or through your demonstrator (if she ordered her catalogues early enough!)...at least we get the Spring Mini in just a couple of days...

I'm just hoping the price doesn't go UP. Both catalogs will be over 200 pages as I recall (I'm not a demo). I'm happy to pay. I love looking through my catalogs!!

Oh.. .not too spendy for demos... there will be TWICE the hostess sets! so all our customers will want to host TWICE the workshops! (wink). I am so excited about it! This time NEXT year we will have a TON of NEW STAMPS!!!

Now that is something to get excited about! I too am happy to pay the price of 2 catalogs (not a demo). There is always so many great ideas and samples. Not that it can compare to here but I can take the book anywhere with me and look through them.

There will be a retirement list for each catalog, as well as a carry-over list. When the 2nd catalog comes out, it won't have all of the seasonal stuff that the previous catalog had in it. But that doesn't mean that it won't still be available. As long as it isn't on the retirement list, a stamp set will still be available even if it isn't in the current catalog. Because, really, who looks at Christmas stamps in March?

I like the two catalogs a year, and it is good to know we can still get off season stamps as long as they aren't retired (I sometimes start my Christmas cards in the summer)

Isn't it funny that we're just barely half way through the life of the old one and now we want to know what's in the new one! No one has ever accused me of being patient! Just think, next year we'll get a new one in January too! :cool:

i think that is why they are very smart about putting out 2 idea books starting next year! They hear our frustrations at the end of Jan wanting something else!! I cant wait either!!

This is the first year we've had the IN colors. And SU! has said all along that the IN colors retire at the end of the catalog year. So stock up before June 30th.

New catalog comes out July 1st... Preview Brochure (size of SAB catty, with new stamp sets AND new PRODUCT!!!) will be mailed to demonstrators to arrive before June 1st, and mailed to customers after June 1st.

I just saw pictures of the New Mexico Regional Seminar on the demo website...it said they got FREE FALL/WINTER collection stamps!! I want to see them! I tried to study the picture with the caption, but failed at my attempt to 'sneak a peek.' Know anyone who was there that would give us a glimpse?

Many who attended regionals have gotten the Double Line Doodle set... which IS a NEW catalog set. There is a sneak peek gallery for this set already.
