Default stumps with gamsol

I just picked up gamsol and didn't get any stumps. I bought some prismacolor pencils and I am dying to try them..... is there anything else I can substitiute for stumps til I get out and get some?

If you have any of those little eye shadow applicators (plastic with a sponge end) they *might* work. But you might have to squeeze them a bit so they are not dripping wet.

The stumps are just compressed paper (or that's what they look like). If it were me, I would try to take the cotton off of a Qtip and use the piece that's left. That is of course if it's paper and not plastic. It's worth a try.
Let me know if it works.
