I too hope to get some cardmaking time today - and a little more time looking at my copy of the new SU catalogue. I'll be makin' a list, and checkin' it twice...or more... It's cool-ish here in Edmonton, which is perfect for sleeping and baking. Made some yummy rhubarb muffins this morning.
The Queen is visiting Ottawa today and gave a speech on Parliament Hill. This was one of the things she said, which I thought was beautiful!

It's about 4:30 here on Vancouver Island,BC. Our little community ( pop. about 1200) has a parade and then some food booths and sometimes kids races etc at the park. I decorated my scooter and joined the parade. It was overcast but didn't start to shower until about 1:30, just as I was finishing my free BBQ salmon with salads, provided by a fish farming business.
Tonight there will be fireworks down by the ocean. My DD will pick me up for that.
I'm hoping that I got some good photos, I am going to do an album of events in our town such as this one, Remebrance Day, the ball tournament and so on.
happy canada day! it was hot and muggy here today. rhubarb muffins? yum! i did a little bit of everything today: stamping, organizing and learning my way around my new blog.
