Default Storing backgrounds

If you take your backgrounds out of their cases, how do you ladies store them? I'm racking my brain trying to come up with an easy way to store them. I would like to use their cases for spots and other things, but I cant figure out what to do with them. I dont have a lot of space. Any ideas?

I store mine on a shelf, on end like a book. I have place the name sticker on the side so it shows much like the title of a book on it spine.

I stack my bg stamps in a drawer without the cases. The drawer is not very deep or wide, but I can stack three stamps high, and twelve stamps will fit in the drawer. When I collect twelve bg stamps, I guess I'll have to stop buying any more! I like to use the cases for special ocassion stamps, like wedding, baby, get well, sympathy, one box per ocassion.

i took mine out of the boxes and used my handy dandy P-touch label maker to make a name label that i put on the top edge (5") - then i put them in a Sterlite 3 drawer plastic storage container -- the container is about 8" wide and about 24" high - i can get 12 BG stamps in each drawer - and i'm up to 23 BG stamps -- i'm a BG junkie!

This sounds like a great idea. I'm still trying to figure out how to store all my sets. Shelves? You have to pull them out from under each other. Drawers? Just not sure.
I have 9 backgrounds coming, though, so I'm going to try the drawer idea. It will keep the dust off.

I store mine on end in a big, clear plastic container that the Costco Kirkland Signature Trail mix comes in (and believe me, it was a pleasure to "empty" the box for the stamps---YUM!)

Dollar General sells these "baskets" 2 for $1. They hold 7 BG stamps without the case and with the name on the side, you have easy reach!
