Default Storage for Pencils

I took the plunge and bought most of the prismacolor pencils in SU colors. Now I need something to store them in. Does anyone know of a site or place where I could purchase a tin to hold 40-45 pencils lined up in only one row?

Sorry Michelle ~ I haven’t seen a source (yet) where you can purchase a tin to store them in… But, here’s a thread about how others store them (not using the tin) maybe you can find some helpful ideas.

I have the big set of Prismacolor pencils and store them in that Pampered Chef roundabout thing. I organized the colors in the order of the rainbow. Granted, I don't travel with my pencils much so this works for me. I like being able to see the colors while I am working.

I wonder if you could post in the BST forum--I know lots of people don't *want* the tin anymore! Good luck finding something that works for you. I just look at mine in the pretty tin, but don't really use them yet. I'm a dork that way!

I have posted in the BST but so far no luck. I know what you mean by sometimes just having things to look at but not with these pencils. I'm having a blast coloring and shading with them.

Someone on the SCS told about a sale at Office Depot. I bought this Rubbermaid SpaceMaker. It is a square with an X in it. It gives you 4 sections.

I have BB markers & prismacolors pencil in 1- EE, RR & SS in the others. I bought 2 and got one free! I am using the second one for extra prismacolor pencils, marking pens, Tombows, White Signo etc. They fit on top of my CD rack where my pads are kept they work great!

Just a thought to help you. Shelf Savers 6x6 X Divider is what they are called. You can see them on line here:
