Default Bella Mounting Question

OK...so, I'm ready to buy some Bellas...but I am very confused about all of the mounting products and methods. The Bellas website says to use double stick tape on my acrylic block?? Well I don't want to do that because I only have one of every size block and I have many clear stamps that don't need anything sticky on them. Any suggestions? Are the Bellas clear or red rubber? Thanks for your help!

They are rubber and you can use EZmount on them and adhere them to your blocks just like the clear ones.

I just spread Aleene's Tack It Over and Over on the bare rubber and let it dry. That way I can fit stamps on both sides of the CD case! I LOVE unmounted!

I just use a small piece of double stick tape on my block when I'm stamping with Bellas and take it off when I'm done. I use just enough to keep the stamp on the block. I don't use a piece of tape the length of the Bella.

I use EZ Mount for all my Bella's. I usually order a sheet from EM as well when I place my Bella orders. I am anxiously awaiting my newest Bella order!

I use Scotch brand, double sided, poster tape. I just put it on one side of my block for bellas and if I'm only using them i get rid of it when i'm done. Or if i'm using other clear stamps with it, i just use the other side of the block b/c the tape is clear. Its an inexpensive solution and it works!

The tape won't hurt your block at all. You can still use the block with the tape for your other clingy stamps, or you can turn the block over and use the other side, or you can easily just take the tape off. I've had one piece of tape on one of my blocks for months, it's still just barely sticky but that's all the bellas need. And when I'm using my other clear stamps, I just put it over the tape and it makes no difference at all. There isn't enough "sticky" on the tape to damage anything. Once you try it you'll see it's really easy and no problem at all. ;) By the way, I use the Scoth double sided tape, think I got it at Office Max and I think I've seen it at Meijers.

Default I use EZ Mount to mount

EZ Mount works the best. Most of the new or well known stampers are adapting it such as Tim Holtz, Magenta, Dee Gruenig, Michael Strong and Kat Okamoto (A Stamp In the Hand has used it for some time.) There are others using it too. It seems to be the future.

I get it from Sunday International. They guarantee all their stuff unconditionally for life. That includes their foam, boards and finished stamps.

I have a little tutorial for this on my blog, thought maybe it would help you to see what Bellas look like:
