Default Stitches Wishlist

I need some input ladies!

Tell me what stitches you would like to see in a stamp set. I am going to list 10, 'cause that's all there is room for. Please add more in a post if you like.

Thanks!

Lisa

Straight stitch, whip stitch, zigzag stitch, blanket stitch. How's that? Can't think of anymore, and I don't know what they call the little xxx stitches.

This would be a great set for a smorgasborger (I know it is not spelled right, sorry to the poster of the spelling thread) set, wouldn't it?

I really like the "faux stitching" on the cards I've seen on SCS.

But honestly, I don't like the stitched stamps. I've seen the SU and Hero Arts stitched stamps...and they just remind me of...old outdated images. I dunno. Just not my style. The faux stitching is much more "fresh" looking and appealing, IMO.

Default um, not sure what is what!!!

not sure how some of these stitches look- not a sewer! Not familiar with proper names!
I know I like the zig-zag-
and the normal straight line, and I think someone else said the one that looks like xxxxx .
I wish SU would bring these on board....So much potential!

I voted for 5 out of 10! I like both zig-zags, blanket, straight & messy and the idea of little shapes; not crazy about the new set in the catty though;

What is this for? Is it just an idea you had? Are you going to submit it to SU? Just curious.

Although I'm a cross stitcher, I didn't vote for that. I would love to see some of the others, though. I voted for
running
double running
blanket
small zig zag

I was hoping for more actual stitches in the new catalog, too. I'm sure I'll grow to love Trimtastic, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I'm totally tempted by Inky Antics' clear stitching set, Sew Many Stitches. But I just signed up to be a demo for SU, so I haven't brought myself to order from another company yet.

To answer the poll, I would love both zig zags, the running stitch, and a straight stitch.

I voted for ALL of them! I love stitches and would use stitches stamps if I had them.
