Help me...Several of my friends tell me that I must get the white craft pad. Do you use it only on black paper? Is it a must...please let me know how you use your white craft pad.
I bought those little purses - haven't put them together yet (if they are the same ones you are talking about). I'll have to get my catalog out and see.
I guess I just haven't see anything particular used with the white pad. I am very curious. I asked my gals for examples, but they don't have anything made on hand right now.
I have the frog stamps (don't remember the name of the stamp) and those are really cute stamped in white on a green paper and then embossed with white. It really pops.

I like my white craft pad, too, and use it a lot. Another great way to use it, is to create a distressed look with sweeps of color either dtp or with a stiff brush. love it
When our downline gets together, we do a different technique every month.
One of our girls stamped the white on velum. It actually looked really good.
Her card was christmas thermed so the velum was over top of white paper that was stamped in blue, then the velum stamped with white on top.
It was a really cool look.
I like my white pad. I use it a lot. I also have the Vanilla. I don't use that one as much because when I first got it, it was dried out and I had to wait for a reinker. I use it sometimes with the EP and sometimes without.
The white ink pad is a must for me!! I use it on every color of paper for back grounds or a center peice on cards or pages. It looks great on 2 step stampin projects - on the bottom or the top, (both give a different look). Also try staping a word in any colour and then stamp white over top. Buy the white for sure. The vanilla is helpful too because I like to use cream paper as much as white with all the shades of brown and red I love to use!

It�s a must have, I also use it on all colors. I love to use it when I make winter/snowflake cards, I sponge around the edges. Its also great to emboss with or just to use on a background stamp! ;)
I use the white craft pad at almost every workshop. I used it on black with letter stamps to look like a chalk board just last night. I use it on every color. It makes great flowers, stars, anything. It is a must.
I am getting some great ideas. Thanks, everyone! I never thought of using it with two-step stamping. Now I am excited to try it. I feel stupid...I have always used the gray for snowflakes...DUH!!! I can't wait for my party! I have an order coming in tomorrow and another order coming in next week.
I love my white ink pad. It's great for subtle backgrouds. And for distressing, too. White ink used to be the color I recommened most for Stampin' Around wheels, since you could use it on just about any color (Soft Subtles didn't show up so well, but you could still see the ink--the Stampin' Around white ink is lighter than the craft ink).
And I have to second the person who said that they use their white and not their vanilla. I rarely use that...it's not as great.
