This was interesting. I have a few, that are bible verses.
(buying words or verses, etc, is not as fun as the designs, but you gotta have 'em!)
Mostly, though, I use poetry that I have written.
Some of those verses, you can frame them with some flowers, leaves, fruit, etc and use them for the front of the card, too.

Although I usually like to customize the inside of a card by printing on the computer, I picked up a few sets of Cloud 9 design simple thoughts for times I wanted something quick. (btw, love the idea of keeping a stash of preprinted on labels, thanks!)
The sets retail at $14.99 at my local JoAnns and I got them when they were on sale for 40% off (around $8.99) . You can check them out here:

Stamps for insides
Checked them out. Very nice.
Are they wood mounted or clear plastic?
Clear plastic sounds nice, I haven't had any experience with them.

I haven't read most of the replies here, but I love Stampin Up's Curvy Verses for the inside of cards. I'm too comfortable to go upstairs and look for it, but I think there are 8 stamps.
I know one is appropriate for a baby card. I think it's "One little baby, so many happy hearts."
One is app. for birthday, one for thank you, one for thinking of you.
I think I reach for this set more than any other for the insides.

I also have bought the Cloud 9 sets. They are clear but stamp well. You can't beat the price and you get more than a dozen verses.

I just got the coolest set of "innies and outies" where part is meant to be stamped on the front and part on the inside from Sparkle N Sprinkle.
