Default Is Stampin'Up ''girly'' ???

I was reading new posts today, and someone mentioned they think Stampin’Up sets are “girly”…

Huh??? I can’t say that I agree. Omitting the obvious and most of the sentiment sets, a quick flip through the Spring/Summer collection reveals 36 NEW releases that I would use to make masculine cards. You might not agree, but here is my list (in page order):

Make It Count; Older & Wiser; Independence Day; The Free & The Brave; wheel jumbo - Happy, Happy Birthday; Big Birthday Candle; Bitty Birthday; Thoughts of Father; Great Grads; Pun Fun; Nursery Necessities; Prehistoric Pals; wheel jumbo - Spunky Spots; Family Phrases; Seriously Sassy; Life's A Breeze; wheel jumbo - Something Fishy; Fruit Stand; Seaside; A Light Unto My Path; Dad's Day; wheel jumbo - Classic Stars; Text & Texture; Think Happy Thoughts; Mark the Date; Full Calendar; Sweet Celebrations; Perfect Timing; wheel jumbo - Dotted Lines; wheel standard - Take A Number; Classic Backgrounds; background - Form & Function; background – Twill; Sweet Serendipity; It's A Sign; Smarty Pants.

When you add approximately 42 sets that were previously released - you have close to 80 sets and wheels to choose from – plus a few more in the Occasions mini… I think that’s pretty fair gender representation!

I think SU! provides a nice variety of stamps in a wide range of styles. There are definitely "girly" sets, but I wouldn't categorize SU! as "girly" in general. I think there's something for everyone!

I think a lot of flowers might appeal to females (flowers, for example) but are not exclusively girl stamps!

I'm still hoping for a great "space" set...rocket ship, moon, alien...in this year's catty.

Dont think the stamps are girly but my 'style' is girly and I find it harder to do male cards - plus I'm more attracted to the prettier style of stamp and papers instead of those that would make a better mans card.

i think that stamping in general is sort of a girly hobby. no offense to any guys who do it (heck, my boys think it's the coolest thing ever!) but maybe i feel that way just because it seems like a girl thing to want to make things pretty *lol* no flames please, not meaning this to offend anyone!
