Smile Stamping stores in Austin/New Braunfels/San Marcos

Yep, we are going to be making the annual trek to Schlitterbahn next week, and while I'm doubtful that I will have a few minutes to 'run' through a LSS, I'd love to give it a shot.

What's fun and is there anyplace that sells A Muse stamps? We just don't get those here in West Texas! LOL

Also, has anyone ever been to the Stamp Salado store in Salado?

TIA TIA TIA!

Stamp Antonio in San Antonio not only carries alot of A Muse but are one of the hosts of museapalooza. Check out their website for details of their Arts Fiesta. www.stampantonio.com
I live in Austin. Many LSS have closed. The biggest is Memory Depot at the intersection of So. Lamar, 360, 290. Their stamp supply is low because someone was stealing stamps, paper, & supplies all over central Texas and selling them in a store in Bastrop. I believe they have been caught recently which is why the word is out. They have a huge paper selecton as well.

There's a fairly new store near I 35 on Stassney. They are not big but have a nice stamp selection. Scraftbook. no website.
Hope that helps.
Don't know of any in new Braunfuls or San Macos.

I heard about the Bastrop story... made the news here. So weird!!

I had heard about the Stamp Antonio store, and that they are amuseapaloozing... too bad I couldn't delay the trip a few weeks! I don't know that we'll make it in to SA.

Have you ever heard of or been to the Stamp Salado store in Salado? They are listed on the A Muse site as a retail location. They don't have a website, and apparantly are web challenged a little. We might could change our route in and drive through there, if it might be worth it...

Oh, by the way, thanks for the info and the reply!!

At I-35 and highway 79 in Round Rock is a scrapbook store called Scrapbook Fever. They didn't have any stamps last time I was in there, but they had a nice selection of paper and embellishments.

I have not made it to Salado but I have heard very good things about it from someone who teaches alot of classes not only as an SU demo but at virtually every store that's been around here.
Maybe you could make a trip on your own for Arts Fiesta!

Stamp Saldo is REALLY great, small store but wall to wall stuff, I've never seen a store pack so much and still be easy to shop! I love it and live WAY too close to it, only about 30 miles or so, Lord keep me stong, please! Have fun here in our lovely, HOT state. At least you can stamp indoors, LOL!

This is great news!! Thank you so much for posting... how is their supply of A Muse stamps?

It is hot at the moment here in our lovely state, isn't it? Whew! Schlitterbahn will be a welcome respite!

I can't really report on A Muse stamps, it's been several months since I've been, but if you can take any of the awesome classes there and lots of Texas themed stuff by Joyce A. Meyer and another artist I can't recall at the moment.
Have a great time at Schlitterbahn too! It's been voted year after year as the best water park in the nation.

I don't know of any stamp stores in NB or SM. I would think the outlet malls in SM would have something. I drove from SA to Austin yesterday & was tempted to stop at the outlets (years ago we lived in an apartment about the time the outlet malls in San Marcos were new & we could SEE them from our apartment complex!). If I see that there are any, I'll post.

I'd LOVE to go to Schlitterbahn this summer. It's been years since we've gone. Have fun!

I'm in San Marcos and all we have is a Hobby Lobby (not even a big one). No stamp stores at the Outlet Mall.

Memory Depot in Austin. It is located in the Brody Oaks shopping strip.

Also, in the same strip center with Memory Depot is a big new Hobby Lobby. I'm pretty sure it is open.
Where in TX are you?

We're coming from West Texas and Lubbock. Hot and dry here. Ready for the hot and wet.

I'm talking to DH today about maybe altering our route a touch to go through Salado on the way in. Cross your fingers and wish me luck!!
