Sticky Problem

My new order came and the jar of Heat & Stick was broken, and empty. The powder managed to sift through my entire box and is in every SU case. I learned the hard way about washing EP down the sink with hot water. I am assuming cold water will be fine to clean all this up? I don't want to end up with less detail or sticky spots on my rubber.
