Default stamping with foam stamps?

Anyone have any tips? Given how economical they are, I thought I'd give a set a try. TIA

I have some, but haven't used them except to stamp in my stamp index. They work with dye based ink (SU Classic), but I have heard that they work better with pigment ink (SU Craft) and also paint (put on the stamp with a sponge brush and apply lightly and evenly). If you use dye based ink don't expect to see much on the image of the stamp before you stamp because for some reason it doesn't show up much, but it is there and will show up when you stamp.

Ohh I love LOVE foam stamps, particularly from Making Memories and Lil Davis! I have almost all of their stamps. I use Making Memories acrylic paint with foam stamps. You can use ink or pigment ink on them, just will stain the stamps and harder to clean off. I just love it!

I also love my MM foam stampsI I found if you want to use ink w/ them then don't use paint on them, for me they never quit come clean and you don't get an even coverage of ink when there is still some dried paint left. But I *love* using paint on them, just use a sponge brush and brush a thin even coat on, not too much or it squishes out under it
