Birth Announcements

I am looking for some ideas for birth announcements with photos. Ideally I would like to stamp my own and then add a picture. I searched birth announcement in the gallery and found a few but not "the one" yet. Any idea where else I could look? When I search online, I really find more of the premade ones and am looking for examples I can make.

here is one that I did for a shower invite, but would also work well with a baby announcement

On the front page of Archiver's Journal that I just received (not on the website yet) it has a lovely square card with a close up b/w picture of the baby taking up about 2/3rds of the square and then on the R side is printed the details in a quite plain font - name, date, time, weight, length, parents, siblings -its very effective and hopefully will be showing on line soon. The name is printed First, middle & last all on separate lines and in bold and each name highlighted with a simple rhinestone.

These are layered once onto the card - should be simple to put together loads but very effective IMO. It wouldn't be too difficult to add some stamping etc to it either.

Easy IS good with a newborn in the house. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

There are some cute baby announcements with photos in the March issue of Papercrafts magazine. I just got mine in the mail today.

Here is the announcement I made last year for my DS. It was a pocket card and I just cut down the picture to fit inside.
