Default Stampin Up Stamp sets

I know that I'm just getting started with my Stampin Up collection and am wondering how big is yours?

I have 13 including SAB and hostess sets.

Not too bad, but then when I think how much money I've spent I wonder where it's gone.

I have around 55 (can't remember and I'm too lazy to look at my inventory to count 'em) Stampin Up sets and backgrounds, and 16 wheels/jumbo wheels. I have a couple of stamp boxes full of singles that I've bought from Mike's or Jo's or LSS. I haven't seen the new catalog yet, but I still have about five sets from the old catalog/summer mini on my wish list.

I've already traded or sold everything I'm willing to get rid of... so I see my stamps 'growing' in 06-07.

I have way over a hundred and after looking at the cattie I want like 40 more! Okay, maybe only 35!! The problem is once I get new ones, I don't use the old ones, but I still want to keep them just in case!

I to am just starting out. I have only 10 sets but there is a bunch that I want out of the old catalog and I am sure there are few that I would like out of the new one, haven't seen it yet. I do have a lot from other places, like Mikes, Joann's, etc.

I totally agree!! I am just over 200 (SU!)...very afraid to recount tham at this point. And, I have sold a lot in the past year. The real problem is the non-SU! stuff that I have...how that has multiplied...

I had to go count and I couldn't believe I only have 31 sets, but that doesn't count TAC and CTMH or the others. I'm feeling a little left out. I think I need more stamps!!

I'm just under 100 SU sets (until this next order gets here)! I have only been stamping just over a year. I have 300+ images from other companies too.
I think I might need to slow down? NEVER

I am well over a hundred - - - I am not a demo - - - so I get to use them all all the time. I love them all - - - although some I use rarely, I wouldn't/couldn't get rid of them. And, Yes, I am planning on purchasing hundreds more throughout my life - - - and, Yes, I will probably keep them all.

Its funny before I signed up as a demo last august, I had 7 sets. Now as a demo 11 months later, I have 14 standard wheels, 13 jumbo wheels, 151 stamp sets, and a handful of images from other places. I had about 30 sets retire. I will sell those and when I order on July first I will get 10 more sets and 5 more jumbo wheels. Wow, this addiction is getting serious.

I have read on other posts that there are some SCSers that have 450+ one lady I think she 523 stamp sets, so I don't feel so bad.

I think I had 80-something when the retiring list came out in May. I've since added and sold a few, and have over two dozen retired and retiring sets and wheels to sell for new catty money...

Well....

I've had more than 500 at one time, many of them duplicates, but I've been paring down my retired stuff in the last few months and selling them off. I just have too many and accumulate too many free sets.

Right now I'm proud to say I only own about 100 and then about 50 that can be used as giveaways.

It feels great to streamline and get rid of clutter.

If you had asked this question a week ago I would not have been able to answer, but I was really bored on Thursday and decided to catalog my entire inventory (stamp sets, wheels, ink pads, etc). I have 69 sets and it was really depressing that only 25+- are current...I think I need to get rid of some so I can buy some on my wish list. But which ones to part with I think I may end up with separation anxiety if I sell any

I easily have over 200 but I've been stamping for about 6 years and rarely get rid of my retired sets. I haven't even counted all the single, loose stamps I have (too many to count), plus a ton of wheels (love those wheels) and a handful of non-SU sets and some misc. ones. I'm looking to downsize my purchasing, but everytime I see some great piece of artwork here on SCS, it just reminds me of all those times I've kicked myself for not purchasing a set before it retired before, so I end up buying the set in question. They all suddenly become my "new favorite". Sad really, but so much fun, and such a great feeling when I can go in and have a huge selection to choose from when I'm on a creative roll.

I'm in the 100+ catagory. I am not a demo so I keep the retired sets that I love which make up a quarter or more of my collection.

That cracked me up!

I try to keep my collection around 50-70 sets so I don't freak out my husband. That means I am continually culling them, selling them off, getting rid of hostess and SAB sets immediately. I only keep what I totally love. I have to do this because of space issues, but I honestly think I would continue keeping it down even if I had a bigger space. I'm one of those people who has a garage sale every year (and the sad thing is, it's a big one every year!)
I use a sticker system to help me remember what is current and retired, and I use another color sticker on sets that are "pending"... if I don't use them in a calendar year, out they go! Gotta make room for new rubbah!
I have three new sets on my next order, though
