Would anyone like to share their opinion of the Karen Foster snap stamps? I have not seen them in person, but they seem like a good idea. Any pros or cons?
I really like them. I haven't used them a whole lot but when I have used them, I'm always happy with the results. I bought the medium lower-cased ones and they're perfect for me. They're great when you want a word or short saying that you don't have (which for me is a lot) and it's great b/c they're all in a row-you don't have to worry about them coming out crooked!
love them, got the 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 inch size in both fonts. Love to mix and match them love using them on cards for sentiments. You can do a search on snap stamps in the gallery and find plenty

I have the 1/4 size (I think?) and I love them! No worries about crooking the letters up. They are always lined up and can make the cutest finish to the card!

I think I'm the only one who bought them and hated them. I thought I sold all of mine but just found a package in the back of a drawer!! I think unless you buy the 1/8th size the spacing is just too far apart. I also think they are hard to store and to clean. I guess I'm a minority on one!!

I love them and use them alot! Actually I take that back...I use the smaller ones alot...I have the 1/2 size and I don't use it all that much.....but maybe I just haven't made the right cards for them yet....
I did not like the spacing in the larger ones, and while the 1/8 were really cute, by the time I fumbled with my clumsy fingers to snap those tiny letters together, I could have printed a little word with a good fine point felt tip. I sold mine.

That is interesting becasue everytime I look at them I think they look like a pain in the butt so I have not bothered with them.
I think they're great!
I didn't like the spacing on the 1/4" ones so I fixed it by removing the letters, slicing off just a tiny bit of rubber on each side using an Xacto knife (just push straight down, no sawing motion), then replacing them in the plastic holders. Then you can snap them together together to form your word, push the letters together and stamp.....perfect spacing!
You do have to push them apart before you snap them apart, but that's not a problem.
I love the 1/8", too!

Love em'
1/8" I use the most and also bought the 1/4" for a bit of larger text. I think they are wonderful! Very easy to use and I just scrub them on the stamp and scrub to clean. Very easy. I ordered mine from ktcrafts and she was great to deal with!

I like the 1/4 size, but I don't like the spacing either. I'm trying to trade mine.
I have both the 1/8 & 1/4 sets. One is the lower case and the other all caps. I've only used them a couple times, but they are so cool to have when you need just the right word, or want to print somebody's first name, and don't have a stamp from a set that is appropriate.
Just a quick PS - I never seem to line them up just perfectly, but I try to use them in such a way that it really doesn't matter. It adds to the character!
I love, love them. I use the smallest ones the most but once I get scrapbooking again I know I'll use the larger ones too. I love that you can stamp any word you want and it will come out straight.
I think the smallest size is definitely the best, for cards at least. I really like mine! I have 1/8 and 1/4 inch (got the 1/2 in. first by mistake and sold it at my thrift sale, way too big and the spacing would be too wide) in the lower casual font.

You're a genius - thanks for the "how to" - now I'll be using my 1/4 more often!!!
And to add my opinion, I LOVE THEM and use them a lot, maybe because my handwriting is awful! Linda
