Default Stamp Set Recommendations Needed ASAP

I know it's almost last minute but I am getting ready to send out my paper work to become a demo and have a last minutre question (ok 2 ?'s)

1. I already have the Headline Alpha and Everyday Flexable Phrases, what additional set would you get for the free $39.99 value set? Other than the other alpha sets? would you get a sentiment set, or a set that is more demo appropriate. Since I have EFP would you still get Amazing to Zany?

2. Would you keep loads of love or choose something else? This set is stepping (or should I say stamping) outside the box for me. It's not really my style BUT I would keep it if there was a high potential to sell a lot of these. OR is this set a waste to keep and maybe i should pick yet another set for $19.95. and if you could choose a $19.95 set which would you choose to demo. I know many people are going to tell me to get what I love but I really want something that will appeal to others, my needs will be fulfilled at a later time. hmmm what to doooo??? PLEASE HELP

I sent my paperwork in last Thursday and I got sets from the Holiday mini.
Everyone seems to love Snowflake spot, which I ordered before I did the demo kit. I kept Loads of Love, and got Think Big, Giving Thanks, Snowflurries, Perfect Endings. I didn't want to spend money after paying for the demo kit on the new sets. I already have
20+ sets out of the current catalog.

Just FYI, there a couple kits available only to demos using Be Happy and Circle of Friendship, and new ones coming out using Glad Tidings and Peaceful Wishes. If you want to utilize the kits, then these sets might be good to have. If you want to know more about them, PM me and I'll explain them to you.

As far as the bonus set, I would definately choose one of the higher priced sets. Amazing to Zany is nice because it's all descriptive words which are fun to use.

I don't know about others but I've been to two stamp nights at my demo's house and we've used Unfrogettable both times on 2 very different projects and everytime I hear people saying... gosh, I've gotta get that set. It's next on my list to get...so versatile.

I would definitely get the Loads of Love, even though it may not be your style. This set is VERY popular and one you will probably sell. Have you thought about an alphabet set? I like the Big Deal alpha; even if you do not scrapbook, alphabets are good on cards as well.

I chose not to get loads of love when I signed, and went with what I love, but I'm hobby only. The only thing that I can say about it is that you can use that for a more masculine card, if you already have a current set that you can use for that aspect then, chose what you like. If you don't, considering it's popularity, you might want to get it. It wasn't to my taste when I signed, but now it's on my list. Go figure. I also have EFP and Amazing to Zany is on my list, too. So, with the bonus going on, I'd say grab it up.
Just my thoughts,
and welcome aboard!

I would suggest Amazing to Zany or Expressive Flexible Phrases.
I don't like Loads of Love either so don't feel bad. I initially thought it was very versatile because of all the loads you can use but at the end of the day it's a truck and there's only so many things you can do with it.

I'm going to replace mine with Warm Words instead which I can use with other stamp sets I already have. I wouldn't buy something you don't like however popular it is, as it is hard to be enthusiastic about something you don't like much. There are plenty of other popular sets in that price category - Snowflake Spot, Be Happy, Natural Beauty, In The Wild, etc.

Any other comments before I'm off to the post office to turn in my demo paperwork? How popular do you think loads of love is? keep it or trade it?

well I went completely against the grain and subbed all my stamp sets with the exception of one...

I got:

Heartfelt Thanks
Bodacious Bouquet
Be Happy
Quick Thinking
Birthday Best
Happy Winter
Hot to Dot

but I got the color pack for my sign on bonus...so I"m no help there...

I did not choose Loads of Love either, since it is not my style at all. I suggest Natural Beauty, because it has that versatile word background stamp that can be masked and stamped each word individually. The leaf stem stamp has been very useful to me to make more masculine looking cards.

I don't know if you've sent your paperwork off yet, but my 2 cents would be to get Amazing to Zany or Expressive Flexible Phrases to compliment your Everyday Flex. Phrases... I think they work very well together. As for the Loads of Love thing... I have the set and rarely use it. I have heard (I'm not a demo so this is not from experience) that you should demo sets that you love. I think it would be hard to sell something that you don't really like, kwim? Congrats on becoming a demo!
