Default Stamp-a-Majig

I have several alphabet sets so I bought the S-A-M, but I cannot figure out how it's supposed to be helping me!! I have read the manual, etc. My demo doesn't have/use one so she hasn't helped...I know I need this ESPECIALLY for scrapping because I am not lucky eyeballing it. Help!! Please!!!

I need one of those. I have a T shaped ruler that I picked up somewhere so I tried to make my own with that but it isn't working. I must get a stamp a majig!

I ordered mine after watching that video! I absolutely LOVE mine and use it all the time! If you're one of those people who likes images lined up perfectly, this is the best investment you can make!

This is the best tool. I recommend it for anyone who doesn't have one. Use a 40% coupon, if you can and get some extra sheets because they come in handy, too.

Those of you who have this, did you go through your stamps and make a bunch of "templates" to have ready to go or do you make them as you need them?

I usually just make them as I need them. It really doesn't take a lot of extra effort to stamp it on the plastic and then wipe it off. But some people use acetate or vellum and make templates for the stamps they use frequently. A word to the wise don't let black ink sit on there for too long or it will become permanent. I would recommend using colored ink. If you do happen to do something like that luckily SU sells extra sheets three to a package and they aren't too spendy.

I've accidental left an image stamped in Basic Black on my image sheet for a few hours but I wiped it off with alcohol and it came right off!

What silverD said. It's just easier for me to use the plastic each time. Keeping templates is more "fuss" than I'm willing to deal with, but I can't imagine stamping without my "jig" near at hand!

I use mine all the time. I usually have the jig facing the other way with the T at the top. I also use it with detailed coloring stamps. I stamp first in real light gray, color in all the parts and then stamp over it with black, that makes it look more finished to me (and I am a bad colorer!)
