Default 1st b-day invites

I am stumped. I want to make invites for my daughter's 1st b-day. Does anyone have any examples or ideas?

Here is what I did for my dd's 1st bday invites. I thought the cupcake w/1 candle worked great!
Treat Yourself First Bday invite

I used glitter and dazzling diamonds on the flame. I used beads for the sprinkles. I used a patterned paper for the bottom of the cupcake, the flash makes it hard to see...

I printed the invite details on whisper white and pasted it to the inside of the card.
Good luck!

Great idea, I too am looking for a 1st birthday invitation for my son. I was thinking about getting the circus train set from SU, but I'm not so sure yet.....I also have Eat Cake, so I'll have to play around a bit.....now I just need to find the time!

Thanks for the idea. It looks great. I am also having a hard time finding the time to make her invites.

Wild About You (SU) is also an adorable set. A friend of mine is making her daughter's birthday invitations (3rd birthday).

I have a good friend who asked me to help do the invites for her son's first birthday party. I immediately thought of unfroggettable. Then she told me that she wanted the party to be very simple - she had bought primary colored balloons and party plates, napkins, etc. So I came up with the attached. The white background with balloons and writing are all computer generated. Then I printed out single balloons (of the ones I used for the background) and stamped the jumping frog from unfroggettable and colored it with green galore, then cut those both out and mounted them with foam tape with a length of silver cord in between as teh balloon string. I made about 18 invites, each one with a different combo of colors on the background papers - yellow on blue, blue on red, red on green, etc. just using the primary colors (and green).

Not stamped, but still cute. I had a luau theme for my son's for b-day. It was Dec. in Texas and still very warm. I used a small EK success flower punch. I cute out lots of the flowers in gable green and turqoise. Then I glued them down in an oval shape to create a lei shape. You could stamp too, I just wasn't into stamping when I made these.
